The WorldForum is an annual conference that attracts leaders of non-governmental organisations from across the world. The WorldForum enables delegates to discuss the rights and welfare of children and young people on a global scale, network and build partnerships with each other.
WorldForum 2007 was held in New Delhi, and WorldForum 2006 in Canada was attended by delegates from 34 countries. Details of all previous WorldForum hosts can be downloaded here.
Each conference is co-hosted by the IFCW and a membership organisation, and the co-hosts for the WorldForum 2008 are Children in Wales.
The IFCW (International Forum for Child Welfare) are an international non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting the rights and welfare of children and young people around the world. They aim to improve the quality of life and enhance opportunities for children and young people to reach their full potential.

Children in Wales is the national umbrella group for those working with children and young people in Wales. They coordinate a range of networks, forums and campaigns to promote the interests of member organisations.
